Spring Valley and Enterprise Land Use Plan Update Adopted

The County Commission has adopted Spring Valley and Enterprise Land Use Plan updates.  The two updated plans are the first to be adopted since the board adopted a new ordinance in 2003 to make master plans more reliable by overhauling the update process. These changes represent the most extensive overhaul of the county’s zoning and land-use policies since 1990.

Winchester/Paradise began their land use plan update in October and Sunrise Manor began the process in November.  The land use plan update process takes about 12 months.  Over the next five years, most of the unincorporated county’s 11 master plans will undergo updates. Citizen participation is considered a crucial link in the process.
