Clark County Public Works, in cooperation with
the Regional Transportation Commission of
Southern Nevada and the City of Las Vegas, is
designing future proposed improvements to the
Western Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway
between Summerlin Parkway and Craig Road. Public
information meetings will be held to provide
project information and to receive public
comments concerning proposed project
improvements.
The proposed improvements
include:

Beltway widening
between Summerlin Parkway to Craig Road by
the addition of one lane in each direction
(northbound and southbound)

Auxiliary lane in each
direction between Lake Mead Boulevard and
Cheyenne Avenue
-
Interchanges at Lake
Mead Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue
-
Soundwalls in select
locations
For the convenience of the
public, two identical public information
meetings will be held:

Wednesday, Sept. 7
between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the
Mountain Crest Neighborhood Services Center,
4701 N. Durango Dr. (north of Craig Road),
Las Vegas

Thursday, Sept. 8
between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Sun
City Desert Vista Community Center, 10360
Sun City Boulevard, Las Vegas
Members of the public are
invited to attend one of the meetings at their
convenience anytime during the meeting hours and
submit their comments in writing on a comment
sheet provided at the meeting or in person to a
public stenographer who will be present at the
meetings. The meetings will be held in an
open-house format to increase the convenience to
the public and to provide for one-on-one
discussion between the public and project staff.
In addition to the comments
received at the meetings, additional comments
can be submitted until 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23
to: Clark County Public Works, Beltway Comments,
