In 1984 the Clark County Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee was established to advise the County Commission on land use, development, and planning related issues.  The Steering Committee currently consists of 24 members and includes representation from the general public, Planning Commission, Town Advisory Boards, League of Women Voters, Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and local chambers of commerce.

The committee is staffed by the Department of Comprehensive Planning and typically meets on the second Monday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center.   District B residents wishing to serve on the Steering Committee may obtain an application by contacting Commissioner Collins’ office at (702) 455-3500 or by email at ccdistb@co.clark.nv.us.
