Clark
County Public Works, in cooperation with the Regional
Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and the
City of North Las Vegas, is designing future proposed
improvements to the Northern Clark County 215 Bruce
Woodbury Beltway between approximately 350 feet west of
Aviary Way to approximately 2,300 feet east of North 5th
Street. A public information meeting will be held to
provide project information and to receive public
comments.
Proposed
project improvements include:

Mainline
pavement construction consisting of two lanes in
each direction
-
Interchanges
at
Aliante Parkway
,
Revere
Street, and
North 5th Street
-
Auxiliary
lanes between interchanges
-
Soundwalls
and earth berms in select locations
-
High
mast lighting
-
Regional
flood control channel and storm drain facilities

To Participate:
Members
of the public are invited to attend this meeting anytime
between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to learn about the
project and to submit comments. Comments can be
submitted either in writing on a form provided at the
meeting or verbally to the public stenographer at the
meeting. The meeting will be held in an open-house
format to increase the convenience to the public and to
provide for one-on-one discussions between the public
and project staff.
In
addition to the comments received at the meeting,
comments can be submitted until Friday, May 25, 2007, at
5:00 p.m. to: Clark County Public Works, Beltway
Comments, P.O. Box 554000, Las Vegas, Nevada,
89155-4000. After the meeting, the display materials
will be available for viewing until the end of the
comment period at: Clark County Public Works, 500 S.
Grand Central Parkway, 2nd Floor Lobby, Las Vegas, NV
89106; from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
