Clark County Fair and Rodeo

The Clark County Fair and Rodeo will be held on April 12 – 15, at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Logandale, Nevada. Logandale is located approximately 70 miles northeast of Las Vegas.

At the fair you can experience some old fashioned fun complete with carnival rides, games, fair vendors, livestock competitions, a world class rodeo, concerts, horticulture, photography, art, and a wide array of food choices, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

The Clark County Fair & Rodeo, formerly named the Moapa Valley Fair, had its beginning back in 1965. This first fair was small in size, nevertheless, it had all the flavor and elements of a good old county fair. Each year new attractions were added, such as the carnival midway, the junior livestock show, and a rodeo.

In the past, the fair took place at various locations in the community such as the local park, churches and schools.  In 1988, the current fairgrounds in Logandale were first used for this event.

Away from the Las Vegas Valley , this fun event provides entertainment and activities for the entire family.  The Plaza, Midway, and BBQ stages provide concerts, magic shows, hypnotists, juggling, and dance performances daily.  The cultural exhibits include plants, quilts, handmade clothing, candies, pies, cookies, photographs, pottery, sculptures, paintings, models, and much more.  If you prefer live attractions, the reptiles, birds, small rodents, and sheep can be found in the small animal barn while cows, horses, lambs, and goats will be shown in the Livestock Pavilion.  The rodeo has events nightly.

The fair opens daily at 10 am , and stays open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, so there is plenty of time to enjoy all of the other attractions such as the pig races, carnival rides, carnival games, train rides, children’s areas, community information, and shopping.

To reach the Clark County Fairgrounds take I-15 northbound from Las Vegas , and exit at the Logandale exit, Exit 93.  Take a right and travel 5 miles, make a left on Whipple Avenue , and follow that to the fairgrounds

Fair hours, directions, and tickets are available at ccfair.com.
