“AL ROJO VIVO” a newsmagazine show in Spanish produced by the Telemundo Network recently sent a news crew to interview Nuclear Waste Program staff regarding the Yucca Mountain Project. “AL ROJO VIVO” producers are creating an in depth program that will feature the results of several impact assessment studies produced by Clark County

The purpose of the report is to create national awareness, particularly among Hispanic populations, and expose some of the potential impacts communities around the country may face due to the transportation of nuclear waste.

The program is scheduled to be aired in November during television sweeps, and is expected to reach a nationwide audience as well as 15 countries including Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
