“AL
ROJO VIVO” a newsmagazine show in Spanish produced by
the Telemundo Network recently sent a news crew to
interview Nuclear Waste Program staff regarding the
Yucca Mountain Project. “AL ROJO VIVO” producers are
creating an in depth program that will feature the
results of several impact assessment studies produced by
Clark County
The
purpose of the report is to create national awareness,
particularly among Hispanic populations, and expose some
of the potential impacts communities around the country
may face due to the transportation of nuclear waste.

The
program is scheduled to be aired in November during
television sweeps, and is expected to reach a nationwide
audience as well as 15 countries including Mexico,
Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
