The Administrative Services Division provides support to Facility Protection, Maintenance, Project Management, Property Management, and Tenant Services for Clark County real property through the divisions of Acquisition; Design and Construction; Facilities; and Housekeeping, Security and Parking.

DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION

The Design and Construction Division's responsibility is management of the development of County facilities for other County Departments. Specific responsibilities include management of design contracts using appropriate standards and cost constraints, and monitoring of construction contracts for quality assurance. Staff professionals, including architects, landscape architects, and engineers provide the necessary coordination with project stakeholders and regulatory agencies to assure delivery of public facilities that are both attractive and functional.

Facilities Division provides the day-to-day repair and building support services for all Clark County owned facilities. Each craft trade is represented within this division to include plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, painting and general maintenance trades.

HOUSEKEEPING, SECURITY AND PARKING

The Housekeeping, Security & Parking (HSP) Division provides custodial services to various government facilities throughout the county. Security manages all essential security requirements for County facilities using in-house and contracted security personnel. Parking manages the Clark County Parking Garage and provides parking enforcement services at the Clark County Government Center.

The Property Management and Acquisition Division's specific responsibilities include the acquisition of properties by lease or purchase, and the sale of properties.
