Non-Urban Standards

These Standards are for the use of a Developer who is proposing to develop in the Non-Urban areas of the County, and who desires to have the Board accept the Public Improvements constructed with their proposed development included in the Countys system of maintained Public Right-Of-Way.

The purpose of these Standards is to provide for the regulation of Road Improvements in Non-Urban areas of Clark County that are to be dedicated for the publics use and accepted for maintenance by the County as a result of the Countys land use and development process. The use of these standards is intended to keep the operating cost of maintaining Non-Urban public roads at a reasonable level, and at the same time, provide for the desired outlying community needs and protection for the public.
