ABOUT PUBLIC WORKS
Public Works is one of the largest departments within county government and offers a variety of services to the community including the design, construction, and maintenance of local, collector, and arterial roadways; the Bruce Woodbury Beltway; flood control facilities; traffic and safety management; land surveying; vector control; and public information.

Deliver quality public works services, programs, and facilities for a better Clark County community.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
- Abate the deterioration of the County's transportation and flood control infrastructure.
- Improve the operational efficiency of the County's public infrastructure within its dedicated right-of-way.
- Enhance the physical environment within the County by improved operations and maintenance.
- Improve the operational efficiency of the Public Works' field personnel and their operations and maintenance activities.
