The Public Communications department is located within the County Manager's Office and is responsible for disseminating information countywide. It regularly produces n ews releases, media advisories and other information for the media and assists them in gathering facts and securing interviews. The department also oversees the operation of and programming on cable Channel 4 (CCTV 4), publishes a newsletter for residents called Sandstone Online, and coordinates the county website's content.
