This two-day celebra tion is based on the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, featuring ofrendas, folkloric dance and music, food and craft vendors, workshops, a Calavera poetry contest, and a special concert by Los Cenzontles. Contests include: Best Belly Rub, Howl at the Moon and Silly Pet Tricks. Over 60 booths will feature info on health, adoptions, photography, toys, vet services, clothing, food and more. Popovichs Comedy Pet Theater, Metro K-9, and Fly 'N Aces flyball team scheduled to perform. Donations of gently used bedding, toys, etc. are welcomed and will be donated to rescue groups on site.
