Register Now for Classes Beginning September 10

 
Online registration continues for six- and 12-week sessions beginning September 10. Walk-in registration starts September 4 and  Registration forms are available at all county community centers, by following the link. The entire Class and Activity Guide can be viewed by following the link.

Class offerings at the 13 urban community and senior centers include a wide range of choices in fitness, personal development, arts, sports and leisure activities, as well as special events and field trips. There are programs for all ages and interests, such as pre-school level Arts and Crafts, Tai Chi, computers and Spanish language classes. Some centers also offer fitness rooms and computer labs, as well as year-round RecTrek for children on school breaks and programs for teens. The Aquatics Program offers swim lessons and activities year-round at Desert Breeze indoor pool and at the indoor pools at West Flamingo and Cora Coleman Senior Centers.

Winchester Cultural Centers classes and workshops in the cultural and performing arts, as well as fitness, are geared for ages preschool through seniors. Four- and 12-week sessions begin Sept. 10. In addition to classes, Winchester offers concerts, dance performances and film series in the Winchester Theater and an art gallery with changing exhibits. Call 455-7340 for additional information.
