The Volunteer Park Ambassador Program is designed to provide extended services to park participants. As a Volunteer Ambassador, you will interact with park users so that their experiences at Clark County parks are positive ones, assist in the promotion of upcoming special events, become the eyes and ears in observing the park patrons’ safety amenity while enjoying the overall experience of interacting with the community.

WE NEED YOUR HELP The Clark County Parks and Recreation Volunteer Ambassadors play a significant role in our community and contribute in many ways to the quality of life that we all enjoy. In partnering with us in Clark County parks, you are helping in the positive development of our community and its safety. By working together we all benefit, and this spirit of cooperation, professionalism, and responsive service to the public that is cost-effective is the goal of our Ambassador program.

OUR LIGHT CONTINUES TO SHINE IN '09

NRPA recognizes Clark County Parks and Recreation Ambassador Program with a Gold Star Distinction. The Clark County Parks and Recreation Ambassador Program was recently recognized as a Gold Star Charter Organization for its policies and volunteer management through the NRPA Operation TLC2: Making Communities Safe initiative. The National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) Operation TLC2 is organized by the NRPA and assists participating agencies in adopting national recommendations and guidelines for qualifying and credentialing volunteers.
