Enjoy an entertaining and informative view of the history of aviation in Southern Nevada, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum. More than 30 display cases and a short video presentation chronicle local aviation history and significant national events that affected aviation in Las Vegas.

In addition to the main exhibit on Level 2, several showcases placed throughout the airport provide historical and visual points of interest.

Locations include:

  • Main exhibit - Level two on mezzanine above baggage claim
  • Ticketing
  • A and B gates - currently being renovated
  • Case between the C and D trams (next to the C tram exit in the main terminal building). 
  • C gates - Changing exhibit cases located on walkway to C gates next to moving walkway.
  • D gates - Exhibit located along west wall on gate level.
  • Sunset Road turnout - Panels and radio transceiver (to be able to listen to aircraft landing/taking off at the turnout.
  • Signature terminal (on strip end of field) - case in main lobby, and historic neon sign at original field entrance
  • North Las Vegas Air Terminal - Two cases in main lobby.
  • Henderson Executive Airport - Four cases in main lobby. Historic photos throughout building
