Sunset Park Lake is available on a year-round basis for fishing. The State of Nevada Department of Fish and Wildlife stock the lake with trout in the cooler winter months, and catfish in the warmer summer months. A fishing license with trout stamp is required. Contact the Department of Wildlife for license information at 486-5127.

Sunset Lake – Remote Control Boats
The south end of the lake contains an area for Remote Control Boating. All hobbyists must belong to NAMBA (North American Model Boating Association) to obtain certifications and insurance for remote control boating. For information on NAMBA the number is 702-735-2975.
