The City of Lights Barbershop Chorus will present “The City of Lights Companion: Christmas Edition” at the Winchester Cultural Center, Saturday, December 13. The comedy bears a loose resemblance to the radio show “Prairie Home Companion,” complete with oddball characters and plenty of music and jokes, presented as if the show is being broadcast live on radio.

The 35-voice City of Lights Chorus is featured along with five barbershop quartets: The Good Times!, Rumble Seat Daze, Vegas Lights, Sun City Sound and the Rat Paq.

The show will include generous portions of the all-time Christmas favorites, including “Winter Wonderland,” “White Christmas,” “Jingle Bells,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Silent Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and Christmas parodies.

The City of Lights Chorus is a Southern Nevada organization dedicated to close-harmony a cappella singing in the barbershop style by achieving the highest level of singing and performing quality and is part of the national Barbershop Harmony Society Winchester Cultural Center is located at 3130 S. McLeod Dr., just north of Desert Inn Road.
