Museum Exhibit Highlights McCarran Airport
Reception Celebrates Sixty Years of History Aug. 16
Exhibit continuing through Nov. 30
The Clark County Museum will host an opening reception for “How Time Flies: Sixty Years of McCarran International Airport” from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 in the
Anna Roberts Parks Exhibit Hall at the Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway.
The reception will include a short presentation by Mark Hall-Patton, museum administrator, on the changes at McCarran International Airport during the last 60 years. The presentation will be followed by a brief question-and-answer session. The reception is a free event.
The exhibit features historic photographs and artifacts from the collections of the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum and will be shown at the Clark County Museum through Nov. 30. The Clark County Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $1.50 for adults and $1 for children.
“How Time Flies: Sixty Years of McCarran International Airport” is part of the Clark County Museum’s continuing exhibit series for the people of Clark County.
