Free Event, Picnics Welcome Clark County's Department of Air Quality & Environmental Control and Parks & Recreation will partner to present Jazz in the Park featuring Delfeayo of the famous Marsalis family. At the concert there will be a clean air festival including environmental organizations presenting information, great food, clean-green vehicles on display and some added surprises during the evening Delfeayo Marsalis, labeled as one of the freshest modern voices on the instrument to arrive in the 90’s, has toured internationally with legendary jazz artists Art Blakey, Abdullah Ibrahim, Elvin Jones, Slide Hampton and Max Roach, as well as touring with his own modern jazz ensemble. |
