Seniors will be able to explore three performances at the Utah Shakespearean Festival’s Fall Season during an excursion coordinated by staff at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. The bus will depart the center at 8 a.m. Oct. 1 and return at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Cost is $219 for a double room and $267 for one person in a single room. Spaces are reserved on a first-come, first served basis. Deadline for registration is Sept. 1.
Upon arrival in Cedar City, seniors will enjoy lunch on their own at The Pastry Pub. After dinner, another play orientation will be followed by the evening performance of “Julius Caesar,” one of the Bard’s most famous plays. On the morning of Oct. 2, a continental breakfast will be served at the Abbey Inn before attending the matinee performance of “Moonlight and Magnolias,” a hilarious farce. On the way home to Las Vegas, the bus will stop in St. George, Utah for dinner.
The package includes transportation, hotel and three shows with seating in the center of the orchestra section. Payments – cash or check -- can be made in person at the Winchester Cultural Center front desk. Mailed payments can be sent to Winchester at 3130 S. McLeod Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
