Under the leadership of Debbie Conway, the Clark County Recorders Office recently implemented new technological enhancement projects in an effort to increase quality service to the high volume of customers doing business with the department. Over the last month, two significant customer service related projects have been completed and are operating successfully.
Building a new web site was critical in providing more efficient services to both internal and external users. The new web site was successfully launched on November 8th. Customers will discover many new user-friendly features including simplified searches of recorded documents, easier access to recording requirements and instructions, a Real Property Transfer Tax Calculator, and an announcement section to keep customers informed. The overall improved look and feel of the site ensures that the user experience is both informative and enjoyable. Click here to link to web site.

The installation of the new customer service queuing system is designed to enhance the flow of approximately 360 daily walk-in customers. The new technology allows the Recorders Office to systematically assign appointment numbers to customers. The intelligent queue management system will register the customer upon arrival and assign that customer a number. An automated sign indicates which work station the customer should proceed to for service.
With the ability to now handle multiple queues, the Assessors Office has been incorporated into the implementation. This provides customers needing services from both offices to be issued one number and eliminating the need to wait in two separate lines.
