Hello and welcome to my first District F newsletter.

This newsletter gives me another way to share information with you, my constituents. I plan to send out a new one every few months, and possibly more often.

I have included a few short articles and Internet links to additional information. I would also appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill out this survey.

Please let me know what issues or questions you would like to see addressed in future newsletters, or if you have a concern that demands more immediate attention.

Thank you for giving me a few minutes of your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

                                                                                                                    Susan Brager

What are Town Advisory Boards and Citizens Advisory Councils?

District F is a very large district that includes much of the southwest Las Vegas Valley , from Primm to the North Las Vegas city line. Within the district there are four Town Advisory Boards (TAB) and four Citizens Advisory Councils (CAC).

The TAB and CAC are made up of volunteers appointed by their respective commissioners. The groups assist the commissioners by giving them opinions on issues affecting their townships or areas such as zoning changes and public works and parks projects.

TABs represent the unincorporated townships and the CACs come from the communities that are not within an incorporated or unincorporated town.
