Computer Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Friday 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

 

Clark County Law Library subscribes to Fastcase, a database research tool that provides acces to cases, laws, and other legal information.  Access is free to patrons using designated computers during normal operating hours.  Patrons may sign up for Fastcase by showing their valid photo ID at the Reference Desk.  Print charges are $0.25 per page. 

 

Fastcase is relatively simple to use and online tutorials are available at ww.fastcase.com/Corporate/Tutorials.aspx.  Informal training sessions at the Clark County Law Library are available and may be scheduled by calling 702/455-4696.  Pathfinder 9, Fastcase Basic Searches, explains some of the basic search techniques.
