Statistical Report Summary

In 1998, the Department of Juvenile Justice Services designed and developed FamilyTRACS, an automated case management application.  FamilyTRACS is a complex application that is utilized for multiple purposes by multiple agencies.  Not only does it assist in recording, compiling and generating statistical information, but it also provides a comprehensive view of case, treatment, client and family information.  Since its implementation, FamilyTRACS has also captured the characteristics pertaining to the nature of the clients and families we serve, as well as the services it offers them.

The DJJS Statistical Report, available through the link on this page, is a prime example of reports that can be useful in planning for additional services and improved processes on the part of DJJS and other agencies in our area that work with the communitys juvenile population.

In addition to being a source of statistical data, the DJJS Databook and Statistical Report will also provide valuable information relating to the dynamics of juvenile delinquency in Clark County.

Kids Count

KIDS COUNT is a nationwide effort to make policymakers and the general public more aware of the well-being of American children. Every year its sponsor, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, publishes the national KIDS COUNT Data Book , which reports on ten indicators of child well-being for each state.

Nevada KIDS COUNT is the Silver State's KIDS COUNTproject, funded by a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation to the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to collect, compile, and publish these statewide and county-level data.
