TRAFFIC DIVISION
Henderson Justice Court is in the process of adding additional Courtrooms. The following Court Schedules will be in effect until the Building Expansion is completed
Traffic Court is held on Mondays or Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. or Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.
Effective November 9, 2009, all Traffic Court will be held on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
Pre-Trial Conferences are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.

Attire Requirements: No shorts, tank tops, or halter tops are allowed in Court. Shoes are required. T-shirts which show offensive slogans or pictures are not allowed. Hats should be removed before entering courtroom.
Juveniles: All juveniles must appear with a parent or legal guardian.
Pre-Trial Conference: If you plead NOT GUILTY at your Arraignment, you will be given a date for a pre-trial conference with a Deputy District Attorney. You or your attorney will need to be present at the pre-trial conference. At the pre-trial conference, negotiations are made between you and the Deputy District Attorney. If these negotiations are accepted, then you need to comply with the negotiations and then the citation will be closed. If negotiations are not accepted at the pre-trial conference, the case will be set for trial after posting the bail amount listed on the citation.
Traffic School: Traffic school is a five hour course. If you have a moving violation on the citation, you may ask the Judge for permission to attend traffic school prior to attending school. It is your responsibility to contact the school and verify the cost, payment arrangement, schedule, etc. Upon completion, the certificate needs to be presented to the Court so that the violation will be amended to one which is non-moving or one which involves less points than the original charge. You are allowed to attend traffic school only once per year.
