The HIPAA Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for overseeing HIPAA compliance at Clark County and UMC as a division of the Audit Department. The HIPAA PMO consists of the HIPAA Program Manager and Privacy Officer. The HIPAA PMO investigates all compliance complaints and performs periodic reviews of covered areas. Quarterly reports are made to the HIPAA Executive Steering Committee, made up of three individuals from UMC and two individuals from County departments.
