NO AUTOMATIC CHANGES!
Updating Your DMV or Post Office Records
Will NOT Also Update Your Voter Registration

When you change your address, name or political party, be sure to PROPERLY inform the Election Department BEFORE the registration deadline.  Changes made in Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or Post Office records are not forwarded to the Election Department.

Updating is Important

You are responsible for DIRECTLY INFORMING THE ELECTION DEPARTMENT when you change your residential address, mailing address, name or political party. If your address is not current as of the registration deadline, you will not receive your sample ballot and other omissions may create delays when you vote in-person or by mail.

If you are currently registered, quickly see your registration information on record with the Clark County Election Department by logging-in to the Registered Voter Services section of our home page and selecting the option View My Registration Information from the "I want to..." dropdown menu.
If you are not registered or you incorrectly logged-in, you will receive the following message:  "No record found for your search criteria. You are either not registered to vote in Clark County, Nevada, or you incorrectly entered the required search information."

AddresS CHANGEs

When you move or change your mailing address, properly notify the Election Department in writing as soon as possible before the registration deadline.

If your address is not current, your registration will be placed on INACTIVE status.  You will NOT receive your sample ballot, Voter Registration Card, important election related materials and notifications.  You also will be asked to confirm your address when you vote.

Your handwritten signature is always required.  Proper notifications include:
