Qualified first, second, and third year law students are actively sought to work in the Clark County District Attorney’s Office as Unpaid Summer Interns from mid-May to mid-August. Interns are assigned to the Criminal, Civil, and Juvenile Divisions. Interns will perform a variety of research and writing projects, assist attorneys with trial preparation, and will be given opportunities to observe trials. Additionally, those students qualifying under the "Student Practice Rule," may make application to the Nevada State Bar for approval to appear in court under the supervision of a Deputy District Attorney.
Applications for Summer Intern positions must be received by the Clark County District Attorney’s Office by January 31 and must be accompanied by a writing sample. These applications will not go through the Human Resources Department.
