Clark County Detention Center, Detention Services Division Inmate Information Search     Be advised the information provided from our Detention Center booking system is not LIVE information.   Depending on the timing of the data extract, an individual could be in custody but not show on the list provided.   The charges that are shown may or may not accurately reflect the charges for which the inmate was arrested or convicted.     Therefore, you are encouraged to call the Detention Center information telephone number if you have any questions regarding the information you receive on the Inmate Information Search.

Locating an Inmate There are three ways to find an individual in custody:

         Call the information line at   (702) 671-3900 for help .   A Switchboard Technician will be able to assist you with the most up to date information.

         An online search www.accessclarkcounty.com/depts/detention_center/ccdcwelcome.aspx

         VINE -Victim Information and Notification Everyday.   Call the information line at 1-877-591-8463 accessible from anywhere in the United States.      

 

Online search - An online search can be done from this Website by clicking on the search button.   A search can be performed in three ways: By using the inmates Last Name and First Name, Booking ID number, or Court case number.   The name search inquiry will provide a list of individuals in custody whose names match or are similar to the one being searched.   (You may also search using the first two letters of the last name only).   A name from the list will need to be selected.   That action will display another page with the general information on the individual.   This information should include the name, booking number, and other information such as charges, bail, court appearances, etc.

Individuals booked as John/Jane Does cannot post bail until properly identified through the Clark County Detention Center fingerprint process.   Should you have legal identification for an individual arrested as a John/Jane Doe, please contact the Clark County Detention Center information line for instructions.  

 

VINE Victim Information and Notification Everyday monitors the custody status of offenders booked into the Clark County Detention Center.   A toll-free and anonymous 24-hour telephone service provides victims and witnesses with information notification.

Register directly by calling VINE at 1-877- 591-8463.   The number is accessible from anywhere in the United States.   The VINE system is available in English and Spanish and is supported by 24-hour operator assistance.   VINE provides the following to crime victims and other concerned citizens over the telephone:

         24-hour access to verify custody information for an offender or inmate.

         Automatic notification to registered users of a change in inmate custody.

Visiting Information: You can find the visiting information by clicking on the visiting link ( Visiting Hours ) found at the bottom of the CCDC Home page or call (702) 671-5700.   You will first need to determine the housing location for the inmate and then check the visiting page for days and times.   Please read carefully the information provided on this web page for rules governing the visitation of an inmate at the Clark County Detention Center.

Getting to the Clark County Detention Center.   The Clark County Detention Center is located in downtown Las Vegas.   THERE IS NO PUBLIC PARKING AT THE DETENTION CENTER.   There are, however, numerous pay parking sites around the Detention Center.

At the Detention Center, the public entrance and information area can be found on the west side of Casino Center Boulevard between Bridger and Clark Streets.   All public transactions occur here.   This includes inmate visiting, posting of bail, and other important processes.

To post cash bail , come to the Justice Court PreTrial Services Division located on the 1 st floor of the Clark County Detention Center, 330 South Casino Center Blvd.   The office is open 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week.   When posting cash bail, you MUST have the exact amount of the bail, as change cannot be made.   Bail may also be posted using a money order or cashiers check.   Payment must be in U.S. Currency.  

To send bail electronically: The sender must go to the nearest Western Union location for information on how to send the cash bail amount from out-of-State to the Justice Courts PreTrial Services Division.   Payment must be for the exact amount of the bail.   Western Union ensures same-day delivery of the payment.

For information regarding the posting of a bail bond (surety), contact a bail bonding company.   Their numbers are listed in the phone book.
