Lawn Mower Exchange Program
(LMEP)
To participate in the LMEP, you must be a resident of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City or unincorporated Clark County within the Las Vegas Valley.
NOTE:
- Please do not bring your lawn mower in the Clark County Government Center or Henderson City Hall.

Clark County employees can participate starting May 4th.
It's as simple as 1-2-3
The three step application process is as follows:

Obtain an application/voucher by going to the Clark County Department of Air Quality & Environmental Management (DAQEM) located at 500 S.Grand Central Pkwy or visit the City of Henderson Community Development Department on the first floor of the Henderson City Hall, 240 Water Street. Show the clerk your Nevada State Driver License or Nevada ID.

Deliver the application/voucher and your gas-powered lawn mower to the recycler (AAEQ). See map to AAEQ on Electric Lawmmower Exchange Brochure and Recycler (AAEQ) Hours & Locations below.

Call the lawn mower manufacturer’s (NEUTON) toll-free number 1-800-982-4358 to schedule delivery of your mower and to pay the $99 co-payment.
Gas-powered lawn mowers turned in at the recycler will be destroyed and recycled for their scrap metal value. Only one lawn mower may be exchanged per household.
The 2009 program was funded by grants received from the Emissions Control Division of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles and a donation from NV Energy.
