Applying for an Air Quality Permit can be a complex process. A qualified specialist at the Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management is available to assist you with your application.

Fees and Billing

Applications require payment of the minimum one-acre fee at the time of submittal.  This payment will be applied to the total cost of the Dust Control Permit and is non-refundable.  After the application has been processed and approved the balance due, if any, will be invoiced.  Applicants will be informed by phone when their permit is complete and ready for pick up, also they will be informed if any balance is due.  The balance must be paid at the time the permit is picked up and issued.

 

Permits are not valid until all fees are paid and the applicant has received a copy of the complete permit.

 

Payments must be by either cash, checks, Visa, Master Card or money orders.  Make checks or money orders payable to "DAQEM".

 

Applications and payments are accepted between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.  Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
