The Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management (DAQEM) has been delegated the authority, under the provisions of Nevada Revised Statute 445B.500 and by direction of the Clark County Board of County Commissioners, to implement and enforce an air pollution control program in Clark County, Nevada.  DAQEM applies and enforces the Air Quality Regulations, which establish requirements for sources who emit or release air contaminants into the atmosphere. 

In this section, you can access the Air Quality Regulations, the Guidelines to assist individuals in interpretation of specific regulatory requirements, information about the Air Pollution Control Hearing Board and Hearing Officers along with their respective agendas and the applicable forms to appeal issuance of Corrective Action Orders (CAO), appeal of Hearing Officer Orders, and appeals of Authority to Construct and/or Operating Permits.  Forms to request a variance from the regulation and certificate of exemption for specific banned trees can be found in this section.
