Air Quality Information

The Clark County Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management (DAQEM) maintains approximately 20 monitoring stations throughout Clark County. Current air quality conditions and a five-day forecast are available here.

(DAQEM) will issue an Air Quality Advisory if it anticipates that Carbon Monoxide, Particulate Matter (Dust), or Ozone may reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range (AQI of 101) or higher within the next 12 to 24 hours. Advisories are posted on the website for any of these pollutants, which may be caused by weather related events (such as high winds) or natural events (such as explosions or wildfires).

As a service to the residents of Clark County, DAQEM maintains a pollen report summarizing the pollen count for trees, grass, weeds and molds.

Detailed information and data from each of the monitoring stations is available on the “Air Quality Monitoring” link.
