Types of Air Pollution
The explosive growth of our southern Nevada population poses an ever-increasing threat to the healthfulness and appearance of the air we breathe. For development and prosperity to continue, Clark County must achieve air quality standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The Department of Air Quality Management is responsible for monitoring our air, developing proper control measures, and educating the citizens of Clark County on how they can choose clean air.
