History of Paradise    

In December of 1950 the unincorporated Town of Paradise was created. In April of 1951 the Town of Paradise "A" was created, followed by Paradise "B" in January 1952. In October 1953 Paradise "A" was renamed Winchester while Paradise "B" remained Paradise. In August 1973 the Board of County Commissioners created a Citizen's Advisory Council. Adjustments made in March 1976 gave the Town its current boundaries.
