PLEASE READ

Nevada Revised Statutes require that wedding ceremonies must be witnessed. The Office of Civil Marriages is generally not able to provide a witness.

If you do not have a witness, you may wait in the lobby for another couple to arrive. By mutual consent, one of them can witness your ceremony and one of you may witness theirs.

Usually, the wait is not very long. Alternatively, you may leave and return with a witness of your choice.

If you choose to wait, please sign the log on the counter and advise the Deputy Commissioner that you are waiting.
