Commissioner of Civil Marriagesis responsible for the performance of civil marriage ceremonies. Civil wedding ceremonies are performed in the Commissioner's Office during usual business hours. To inquire, you may call (702) 455-3474 or direct a written request to:

PLEASE READ!!!
Nevada Revised Statutes require that wedding ceremonies must be witnessed. The Marriage Commissioner's Office is generally not able to provide a witness.
If you do not have a witness, you may wait in the lobby for another couple to arrive. By mutual consent, one of them can witness your ceremony and one of you may witness theirs.
Usually, the wait is not very long. Alternatively, you may leave and return with a witness of your choice.
If you choose to wait, please sign the log on the counter and advise the Deputy Commissioner that you are waiting.
