You must provide the final date, month and year the decree was issued, as well as the City, State and County where it was granted. You are not required to provide a copy of the final decree.

The requirements for NON U.S. citizens are the same as those for U. S. citizens. Only proof of age is required and marriages are generally recognized in your country of origin. However, we suggest that you check with your local officials BEFORE coming here to marry to ensure that they will recognize the union once you have returned home.

Applications for Marriage Licenses are on record in the Marriage License Bureau, located on the 1st floor of the Regional Justice Center, 201 Clark Avenue, Las Vegas, NV. Click on MB to find the mailing address. Records of actual marriages must be obtained from the Recorder's Office. Click on Recorder to go to their web page. You may provide a foreign birth certificate (must be translated into English and notarized), a valid passport or a resident alien card. Only one form of valid identification is required.
