Our office maintains Oaths of Office for a variety of elected officials, judges, commissioners, and board members. (We do not have oaths of office for regular county employees. Most of those are kept in the office of the County Recorder pursuant to statute requirements.)

Oaths of Office received in our office are not file stamped. Please note: Not all of the Oaths of Office for elected officials and judges are maintained in this office. The statutes direct all elected officials, judges and board members to take an Oath of Office, but it is not always specified what is to be done with the Oath once it has been executed. Some elected officials and judges send them to our office, while others may choose to record their Oaths of Office in the office of the County Recorder or may keep it in their own files.

The list below details some of the Oaths of Office we have available in our office. If a position is listed below, that does not mean all of the Oaths for all of the individuals who held that position are in our files. It is only an indication that at least one Oath of Office for that position has been presented to us. As with all documents, normal fees for copies, certification, exemplification and searching records will apply.
