Save the Space
Clark County prides itself on being an open and accessible government. The benefits of our government and our society should be made available to everyone, whether able-bodied or disabled. To that end, we’ve engaged in a campaign to educate the public about the laws we are required to follow in providing handicapped parking for our citizens.
Involved in the campaign are our Public Communications office, Business License Department and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. See the public service announcement, now appearing on Clark County Television (CCTV) Channel 4.
Also, Development Services plan reviewers check plans for handicapped parking requirements, and its inspectors are responsible for ensuring that the approved plans are followed when construction occurs. This inspection includes parking spaces, signage, curb cuts and ramps per approved plans.
For more information about handicapped parking requirements, see this informational flier.
