Planning Commission

Among many other functions, the County Commission is responsible for land development in unincorporated Clark County. Each of the commissioners, voted into office from seven electoral districts, appoint a planning commissioner to represent his or her district on the Planning Commission. This commission is empowered by the County Commission to make final development decisions on many land use applications and make recommendations on nonconforming zone change requests. The County Commission, however, is the final authority on all zoning issues, including decisions appealed from the Planning Commission. The members of the Planning Commission are:
