Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to view, navigate, and print PDF files, and is the file format in which the Assessor's maps are stored. Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to zoom in, pan, and provides other easy functions to allow for better viewing of the Assessor's maps. Once installed on your computer system, Adobe Acrobat Reader launches automatically once a map item is selected.
Once Adobe Acrobat is loaded and running your screen will resemble the following. You will have your browser buttons and an extra row of buttons that provide the Adobe Acrobat Reader functions.
Note: It will take approximately two (2) minutes or longer for the map files to load.
The hand allows for panning. The magnifying glasses with the plus and minus signs are for zooming in and out.
