What is the Peer Mediation Program?
The Peer Mediation Program involves students in resolving conflicts which arise in the school environment. Teachers, staff, and students are trained in a comprehensive model of conflict resolution which impacts a whole school. Selected students are trained to mediate disputes between their peers.
Benefits of a Conflict Resolution Program

- Communication skills: how to express feelings and needs; how to listen without taking sides
- Problem-solving skills
- Responsibility for their own actions
