Easter

Many people are tempted to give children baby rabbits, chicks, or ducks as an Easter gift. While most residential areas are not zoned for ducks, or chickens, the delicate nature of any of these young animals make them unsuitable as a pet for small children. If you are considering one of these animals as a pet we encourage you to contact your veterinarian about special diet, and other needs that these animals require before you purchase one as a gift.
