Financial aid for housing expenses for eligible indigent members of the community.

G.A.T.E. ( General Assistance Temporary Employment) Program provides employment readiness to recipients in exchange for financial assistance.  Program participants have the opportunity to gain work experience, develop appropriate work habits and establish a history of employment.  This program provides manpower to public entities and non-profit organizations.

Out of Area Transportation for eligible individuals is provided in the form of air fare, bus tickets, or gasoline assistance. Funds for food are issued when traveling by motor vehicle or bus.

Local transportation is provided by CCSS to individuals who are disabled, seniors, clients with children who lack finances, vehicle resource, or access to public transportation.

Burial or cremation assistance. Clark County, through CCSS, is responsible to furnish a burial or cremation for persons who die within Clark County and who meet eligibility guidelines. The assistance is also available for residents who die out of Clark County if they were sent out of Clark County by CCSS for nursing home placement or hospital care.
