If non-forwardable mail, such as your Voter Registration Card or sample ballot, is returned as "undeliverable" or indicating you’ve moved, you will be sent a forwardable notice advising you to update your address with the Election Department. You must do so within 30 days or your registration will be placed on inactive status.
Your registration will not become inactive if non-forwardable mail sent to your mailing address (rather than your residential address) is returned as “undeliverable.” Instead, your mailing address will be removed from your registration record. A new Voter Registration Card containing the change will then be mailed to your residential address.
Quickly see your address on record with the Clark County Election Department and whether you are "inactive" by logging-in to the Registered Voter Services section of our home page and selecting the option View My Registration Information from the "I want to..." dropdown menu. If you are not registered or you incorrectly logged-in, you will receive the following message: "No record found for your search criteria. You are either not registered to vote in Clark County, Nevada, or you incorrectly entered the required search information." |

You will no longer receive election related materials, such as sample ballots, because the Election Department does not know your current address. You may still vote in your precinct of record, but you will be asked to update or confirm your address.
Your registration will be CANCELED if, after your status becomes inactive, you don’t vote in two consecutive federal elections. |
