Major Projects

The Major Projects Team reviews projects within master-planned communities of a specific size. Typically, Major Projects consist of projects of 700 acres or more within the urban area and 300 acres or more in outlying areas within unincorporated Clark County. Specific code requirements are outlined in Clark County Code 30.20. 

Major project developments go through an intensive public process, ending with the negotiation of a development agreement, to ensure that impacts related to that particular development, such as roads, parks, schools, public safety, and other infrastructure needs are addressed.
